DRST is excited to announce the successful completion of the Training on Rural Economic Empowerment (TREE) program within Kasulu district. This initiative was meticulously tailored to cater to the specific needs of women, youth, and individuals with disabilities in the region.
The primary objective of the training was to enhance participants’ capabilities in rural economic endeavors. The structured curriculum covered a diverse range of subjects, including business management methodologies, financial literacy, proficient loan management practices, and the formulation of foundational business plans.
DRST is proud to have facilitated this training, which aimed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and skills necessary for efficient operations, ultimately bolstering their prospects of achieving sustainable livelihoods.
In collaboration with Danish Refugees Council funded by DANIDA under the SPA II program, DRST has outlined plans to further support participants by facilitating their linkage with local government authorities to access interest-free loans.
This initiative represents a significant step towards promoting economic empowerment and creating opportunities for marginalized groups in the community. DRST remains committed to supporting and empowering vulnerable communities in Tanzania.
