Empowerment for Equity and Inclusion

Disability Relief Services Tanzania (DRST) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization established in 2008 (Reg. No. 00NGO/00002597). We are dedicated to empowering vulnerable, marginalized, and deprived communities, especially Persons with Special Needs (PSNs), refugees, and host communities in Tanzania.
Our programs focus on human capital development, socio-economic empowerment, inclusive education, health, and advocacy for rights and social justice. By working closely with communities, we create sustainable opportunities that improve livelihoods, promote equity, and ensure that every individual can contribute meaningfully to society.

DRST

What we do?

Millions of Tanzanians, especially persons with disabilities, women, youth, and refugees, continue to face barriers that limit their access to education, health services, livelihoods, and full participation in society. At DRST, we believe that equity for life is not just a principle—it’s a commitment. Our initiatives are designed to break down these barriers, raise awareness on rights, and build resilient communities where inclusion and dignity are guaranteed.
